The Schlott, a great fun Jazz Club in Berlin.

Tomb of the Forgotten Soldier by Alexanderplatz.
"Unter den Linden" by Alexanderplatz across from the Neue Wache. Following "The fall of the wall" in 1989, construction and comercialization of Eastern Berlin as well as the interest of tourists made for a rapid tearing down of the wall.  This segment of the Berlin Wall was not torn down, because of the impact of its graffitti.
The longest segment of the Berlin Wall not torn down, but chipped away by those wanting a piece of history.  This wall is being preserved by the Historical Society of Berlin. Mitte's Backpacker Hostel in Berlin, where I spent two nights.  It was centrally located and a fun atmosphere. www.backpacker.de
