There is a convenient running/walking Trail right behind the House on Evans-to-Locks Road which goes down the Savannah Rapids Pavilion

The Path is separated from the Road, and is scenic, without too many hills, making it an enjoyable path.  For the serious runner, the path

extends for 10-13 miles past the Pavilion. Past the Pavilion, there are also off-road trails for runners and bikers to enjoy.

We typically enjoy the 4.5 mile run on the path down to the pavilion and back. You can see the scenic road-side trail in these pictures:
